Concrete scan analysis of a hospital in preparation for coring/cutting in over 50 proposed locations.
Project Description
Client was preparing for a complete renovation of multiple floors within the existing hospital complex. Vosburg Welsh was hired to conduct a concrete scanning analysis of over 50 proposed coring/cut locations. During this investigation, we identified numerous structural components that were in conflict with proposed construction activities – to include existing beams, post-tension cables, rebar reinforcement and utility conduits. Our clients used this information to amend numerous proposed coring/cut locations and safely and efficiently complete their work.
