Project Description
A large national General Contractor was preparing for construction of a large commercial facility located at the Lehigh Valley International Airport. The existing infrastructure had been installed, adjusted and abandoned for more than 60 years, leaving a large volume of unknown utilities within the subsurface. Vosburg Welsh utilized ground penetrating radar, electromagnetic field detection and acoustic detection equipment to locate and map over 11,000 LF of existing utilities. Project personnel were provided with detailed maps and electronic design files to use throughout the life of the project.
