Scope
By conducting a comprehensive subsurface utility investigation and using non-destructive hydro excavation test holes, our professionals were able to precisely locate several natural gas and petroleum transmission pipelines.
Project Description
Client was preparing to develop a large plot of land located south of Dallas, Texas. During the planning and design process, several natural gas and petroleum transmission pipelines were found to be operating in the area. To comply with engineering and design standards, it was necessary to identify the precise horizontal and vertical locations of the existing pipelines. Vosburg Welsh conducted a comprehensive subsurface utility investigation that included extensive coordination with utility owners, implementation of surface-based detection tools and non-destructive hydro excavation test holes to confirm the location, composition and type of each gas pipeline.
